Pond liner

My pond has started leaking I've already patched it one time I've had the liner for 8 years. I'm wanting to put a new liner on top of that liner which kind should I get rubber vinyl or polyethylene whatever? Lol I think 20 Mill would be thick enough

Only two are adequate.
The old standby 45 mil EPDM.
Or HDRPE.
My pond is EPDM and my bog is HDRPE. I like both.
HDRPE is less costly and weighs much less than EPDM.

Do not attempt to save a few dollars with a PVC liner. I can tell you from experience, it will fail quickly. It will be a heartache because you will have to redo everything and then there's the money you wasted on the PVC liner.

I had a PVC liner that only lasted a few months. It sprung a major leak in the dead of winter. I had to wait until Spring to replace it. Meanwhile I had to add 300 gallons a week to keep my fish alive. It was horrible.

It turns out it was my new. For some reason it was seeping out the back of the bog garden I had to build up the edge of the bog garden
