I work close to Baltimore everyday. There are some thuggy dudes,,,,and girls around,I often wish I was carrying. I do carry pepper spray which has the added value of being able to have a punk at my mercy for a minute or two.

We have a rental in greektown, Baltimore, always on guard when we go to work on it.
The overall climate of people has gotten better in that one area in the last few years

AZ is much like UT, I travel to NYC often for work and it always amazes me the difference in culture in different places. Where something may be normal in one place its absurd in another.
