I finally got a bloom on one set of lillies and was wondering how long the flower stays alive?

also a few pads have turned yellow, do i need to remove them from the pond and if so do i remove the pad and tube?

4-5 days is the norm for the flowers.when it stops blooming snip it off, stem and flower, near the rhyzone. or it will shrivel, curl up, and rot in the pond. pads that have browned should be removed at the base of the stem as well. the plant will continue to send nutrients to those pads and flowers. that could be feeding living pads and blooms!

Yep snip the flower and the whole tube off every time they start to die.
