Whoops -- I don't know how that last part ended up as part of your quote, JB. But that last half is my reply to you!

It looks so natural @addy1 and I have it on right now viewing your beautiful fish nibbling at the plants. I love when they swim by the camera lens close up!

It reminds me of scuba diving in the kelp forest in California. Those fish where bright yellow / orange.

I've never been scuba diving @addy1 but I am amazed at how well those plants are growing and they are just free floating right? Looks like a pond out in the wild w/the plants growing in the bottom soil.

pic 2 addy is that a frog under the yellow lily flower
No it is a dead apple leaf. That pond is right next to two apple trees. I still have a ton of frogs hanging around making night noise and day noise.

Lilies are doing much better this year, still a few yellow pads but WAY better than last year. Usually like 10-12 blooms active each day from 6 lilies. Last year the lilies were in their oil pan pots for 1.5 years and that extra 1/2 a year showed at the end of the season. This spring I repotted them in a mix of kitty litter and safe t sorb with osmocote plus ferts and them are quite happy.
