I hope I don't jinx me for saying this, but this winter has been very nice so far in my part of Ohio. Haven't even had my snow boots on yet - just my hiking boots when I go walking with the dog. This little bit of snow will be melting in the next couple of days when we hit 40.

21 inches just short of our seasonal average. Hole to right is an opening in waterfall tub, middle hole is stream and hole to left is an opening in the pond . The winds created a crater with the pond in the center. The second pic shows my foot prints walking up the snow drift to check the pond

not sure but I would rather have your 2 inch's .Plows came down the road at 2 am and now I am trying to move a 3 foot mountain in front of my driveway .I got about a foot of it down by picking up the snow cakes and throwing them in the ditch

Just re-shoveled sidewalk and driveway. Almost have a spot for hubby to park his car at top of driveway. Going to let the sun do some work for a while. As soon as I came in to dry off and warm up, Directv is down from snow on dish! Really? Now? Snow is mid-thigh deep and dish is cleared off. Still can't get deck door open. Deck is 14' up with no steps. If the sun doesn't clear it, will have to put up a ladder. Just need to find the ladder under the snow!
I hope this Jonas doesn't have any brothers!

I look forward to winter every year.
Everything changes, the bug population disappears, wildlife activity and of course the landscape appearance change dramatically
When spring comes, it's like a whole new environment again.

25°F, and I think we're expecting snow tonight, but I don't think it'll be much. I saw 40°s in the forecast late next week, so that'll be nice.

Meanwhile, I thought I'd share this with you. I hand drew the sketch but added color and text in an editing program. I'm not exactly sure what I'll use this type of thing for in the future, maybe I'll use them for videos or things like that, but I liked how it turned out and wanted to see what you all think of it.

The snow is being melted from the hives. So glad we have them in full south sun. The upper exit is now open on all. They do fly out to poo if it is above 50. My little pond pump in the shallow end is doing its job keeping a hole open. The breather is in the deeper end.

I've been experimenting with more drawing and colorizing and I created this.

I wanted to share it but didn't want to make a brand new thread, so, instead, I'll keep this comment on topic by saying it's 27°F outside right now. ;)
