Oh, darn, sorry about the toes, ladies. I've heard of poking a hole in the nail, but knowing me, I would poke right through the toe! LOL
Sun is shining this morning, but I knew it was chilly when I heard my furnace kick on at about 4 a.m., set to 64 degrees. :( It's 37 out there, but going up to 70, so this is IT! We had about a week or less of 70 degree temps maybe back in March but that's been it. I'm soooo ready for 70's and 50's, perfect temps. Going to have 80's most of next week, too, which will hopefully bring in some rain. No rain for right now, though, as the farmers are working fast and furious to get the fields of corn planted. They should be close to finished if the rain holds off until Thurs., as it is now predicted!

But CE if you ever smash your toenail and the blood collects behind it, believe me you will want to make those holes. The relief is instant. Even a new scraper blade works just trill it around until the first squirt of blood comes out. Instant relief.

I did not even knew it rained that hard last night until I went out to look at the pond and saw it gained 2 inch's of water and then saw the tote had water in it .Then i took the mail down just awhile ago and saw the ditch and I'm sure lots of water already soaked into the ground there .I put grass seed with the stuff on top of it in bare spots yesterday and marked the date to see how long it takes to come up .The spots in the front yard took 4 days to come up and it is commercial grade grass seed

No pain anymore, the blunt object that fell on my toe fell right before the nail and it bled a bit there last night, but pain is gone now and I had to work hard and move three pellets in Freezer. Toe is fine and I wear steal toes at work. Toe nail looks bad.

Smoky outside tonight. Prairie must be on fire somewhere. Ground is parched and trees are suffering. Please send any rain you can spare!

Just so you know, old age sucks!! Now I got dumb hair growing on big toe!! No one ever told me I would have to shave the hair on big toe!!!!

Almost 70 here and it's not quite noon. The yard looks like Wild Kingdom right now...I finally got some birdseed into the bird feeders and the birds have gone bonkers for it. I hate to spoil their party, but I do have to get outside and do some yard work today while the weather is agreeable.
