As I was typing how nice it was out I heard thunder. By the time I got up and looked out the window it was pouring down rain.
Delete delete delete on the lovely weather to rain and thunder.
Thank you bi-polar weather for keeping things interesting.

Wish we could have a nice little summer rain. Getting tired of running out watering everything in sight all night long. I am now officially a night hawk, sitting outside by the ponds and marveling in all my accomplishiments this year, then mind gets going and I start dreaming of other things to do... like I have too much going on already with work, puppies, house, and of course the ponds and yard. Mother wonders why I am so exhausted some days, then the heat really can wear me out. I need my own pool of water to cool off in!

I don't mind the rain, it just seems to show up on days I have outdoor stuff planned after work. If Mother Nature and I could get our schedules in sync it'd be great...
Why are you watering all night long Colleen? Growing moonbeams?

Hot with even a hotter breeze mowed some and did some yard trimming and had to water early .Meaning before 6 am .Now forced indoors by heat .Gave me a headache so knew it was time to come in

Got home last night and was able to mow even though it was 94 outside. It looks like a pretty day today but... you know... I'll wait a few minutes and see if it changes. Happy Friday all.

90 here and finished the last of the mowing down last night and finished edging the lawn with the gas trimmer this morning and watered and I am sure hoping for rain .Clouds are here but they are only light grey .We get heavy dew in the morning but it is not enough .

Thunder... Let's see how far off I was.. 2 1/2 hours between gorgeous and thunder. Lol You can have any rain we get tonight Sissy, I've got friends coming over for a BBQ. I really hope it doesn't rain.

It is, I hardly ever have people over. I always think I've got a little more to do before showing it off.
Well that and I don't like people... LOL

I had the pond people over from my local garden center .We get together once or twice a week to discuss our ponds/good and bad .It really helps the new ponders here .I have really heard some horror stories on what people have told them to do to there ponds .Bad advice is a dime a dozen but learning is free .
