She didn’t. She came home with me after catching a mouse at work. It’s my hope she will relax now and catch the annoying mice we have, and show Ziggy how it’s done before her owner gratefully claims her back. Otherwise plan B is to find her a new home, and plan C is she joins our barn cats. I’ll be happy so long as the mice are killed!

Didn’t attach pics. Sorry, tired. Draining down the rest of that pond now. Thinking I may move it anyway, set it up on the front porch so next year it will get more sun and hopefully the water lillies will grow. Also, it will strengthen the anti puppy barrier! And yes, that is a coffee cup full of fry.

Just had a thought, may see about implementing tomorrow. Instead of setting up the mini pond on the front porch, I may rearrange sun room and set it up there. All the guppies will have plenty of room. Concert floor will be plenty sturdy, it’s just a matter of rearranging the sun room, setting up a filter big enough, as they didn’t have one when outside, ensuring electricity to where I set it, if my little fountain pump still works, I’ll set up a pre filter, and let that provide just enough circulation to keep water moving and oxygenated. I’ll have to test that and devise a pre filter I can clean. I only fed them outside about once a month, counting on bugs and duckweed to provide food, with cooler temps and then all inside my tanks will be overwhelmed if I keep feeding the inside ones like I was. Plotting things. I can plant my remaining water lillies in the bin of clay litter I have, add a bit of fertilizer, maybe set up a small bog, I’ve got a grow light, and where I’m thinking of setting it up, it won’t blind the guys.

I need a cast iron frying pan to the head. When I get this tired, I want to get stuff done, and talk it over endlessly. Guys are playing games, so y’all get to hear it/ read it. Measured the pond frame, sprayed it off, now letting it dry, need to move it. It’s got a lot of rust the past year, but still solid. May need to spray paint it to prevent more rust. Where I’d need to put the pond is a few feet too far from either outlet, so will need a heavy duty extension cord. Hopefully I can set up things so I have pump and light both going. Bad thing is that where the pond is at, I have a ton of plants that have seeds which keep prickling me! Wild type marigolds. I’ve got a nice farm boy beefy friend, who will be by to work on the boat today, who I’m sure will help me move the pond if I can stay awake till then. 4 more hours! My tired brain may not last that long. If only the mower worked well enough to get back there!
So currently I’m thinking I have him help me move it to the porch. I’ll take off the liner, give the frame a good cleaning and paint job, then put it back together better, as the liner has a few spots that it can overflow I need to adjust. Then I’ll set it up inside, figure out the cords, add a light colored substrate, set up a small bog, fill and get it cycling, and hopefully this time next week I’ll be able to post pictures. I have to wait till payday to get paint and substrate, otherwise I’d be working on that now! I’m so impatient! I know I can jumpstarts the cycle by using the tank water and moving over it’s decor and rocks, but I think I’ll put the liner in the pond with its water to preserve what beneficial bacteria and hair algae it has.

I moved new rescue kitty to my room away from where the other animals play so she can rest better. Her ribs are really bothering her. I called the vet office and let them know I have her if someone comes looking, but they hadn’t heard anything so I may have a new cat, darn it.

We will be calling you the cat lady!
I’m fighting to not become a crazy cat lady. We have one that comes in who smells strongly of cat pee, I don’t ever want to get that bad. However I have no problem rescuing any animals in need, of only I could find their owners! Or new owners.

I should be sleeping now, but my muscles are complaining. Apparently being bent over the mini pond so long to catch all the fish was a bad idea. But I did catch every fish but one tiny fry that I know of. I only saw that one as it spilled out, and then it was gone. My lower back is locked up on one side, then the opposite side the muscle from my tail bone to my knee is giving me issues, compensation patterns. Tried to stretch it out, tried cbd cream, ( which helped take the edge off) and nsaids. I’ll eventually get it worked out, just not quick darn it!

One of the docs I worked with said the best anti inflammatory is plain old aspirin. That is all I use, the full strength, think 375, and take the max you can take. For a short time of taking it won't burn a hole in your stomach.

Anytime my muscles lock up I turn to aspirin. Aleve and all those others do nothing for me.

My doc in Iraq was big on naproxen for muscle skeletol issues, I just pop generic excederine which I keep on hand for headaches. We keep baby aspirin on hand for dad and the pets, but not the full strength stuff.

Got my house completely cleaned!! All it took was a contractor coming in to give an estimate for cleaning and sealing deck. May as well spend vacation money to get something done so I don't have to do it! Hiring a cleaning company would have been cheaper but this way deck gets taken care of too.
