Whatcha doing today?

I checked my pond, it’s doing great, my new babies have got so big. I’ve got a third white one! And it’s color changed so early! My shubinkin have come out of hiding to swim with the smaller fish, I now have a big school swimming around.

My animals are all trying to punish me for being away so long. My cat was kicked outside for attacking the dogs, and so she is snubbing human contact. The little kitty that would run to me isn’t doing that. The pups got in a fight, so I’ll have to bathe, doctor wounds, and update shots. Based on the one bite wound, they fought a stray dog. Too broad through the muzzle for a coyote. But they broke their lines. Time to work on the fence! Jerks.

I repotted several lillies, put the bigger ones in the pool, had to get in the pool. Had a trail of babies following me around, nibbling my legs! Working on the garden, pond, and then once I’m dry from the pond, or heat chases me in, I’ll go in and do laundry

Today I’ll try digging in the new pond place. I strained my arm while I was gone, so not sure I’ll get a lot done. Currently I’m getting my morning coffee in while trying not to get clawed as the kittens race around like they found speed. Grandma cat is nursing her grand babies, as the mom to that litter is outside. Out of 22 babies, 2 are gone to new homes, 4 will be barn cats, one has bonded to my husband, one to my step son, 1 has a home lined up once he’s 8 weeks old, that leaves me with still way too many!

The plants Addy sent arrived, I’m excited! So I’ll be working on getting the lillies potted, and plants all rearranged in my qt tanks. They’re just kinda set in there for now. I’ll go out after things cool off, I’m hearing we might get rain tonight, which we need.

I went out and got the lillies potted, but mosquitoes chased me in. I don’t know why, but bug spray doesn’t help this year, I’m like rib eye to the biting bugs. Fed the fish, got ok pics of them as they darted around eating. Other pics are my two qt tanks full of plants! And I snuck in one of the toe biter who’s managed to win my hubby over. He’s always up and after feet, fellow kittens, bugs, anything that moves! He doesn’t know he’s just a little thing, he’s ambitious about big game!

Big storm last night, expect more tonight. My plants and pond love it! I’ll just have to go the long way to work, I almost got stuck a couple times this morning.
So for my shubinkin loving friends, is that white ones back “ blue”? It’s staying where I can’t get a great pic, but I’ll do it full size.

I finally redid the pipes for my window box bogs. Still used 3/4"pvc but this time I cut a 1/2" slit over each window box instead of 1/8" holes. It was plugging up daily. Also oriented slit so it sprays to outside edge of window box so that that fills first and then flows back to pond. I managed to find a pait that matches the boxes so the pipework is almost invisible.
