Sissy- weren't you complaining about how badly you needed rain? be careful what you wish for. I wanted a good several days of soaking rain. I got it, while I was on vacation!

Still raining here, still under flood warnings. Not as much as we were getting. It did slow down a bit.

We needed the rain but I can only get things done between thunder storms .Seems like all we are getting is these heavy rain storm with lots of light show .At least I am getting a little done inside and in the basement .Another couple want fish but told them they will; have to wait until train lets up .At least I know my well is safe and sound .

Housework. Picking more paint colors, have to paint back hallway, and a bedroom. Joy

That's exactly why we built out chicken coop the way we did, if we get tired of chickens, the coop can easily be turned into something else

Gemma is was not easy to remove the odours left from the chickens. It turned out really good though, had to sand the walls scrub, and then repeat.

well I wanted it but not like this ,all the flooding people are suffering and it seems no relief from this .10 year old girl killed here by a falling tree ,so sad

We are under flood watch.............again. I am staying away from any of our tall trees, the ground is saturated, mushy and soft. They are mainly in our back woods.

We have loss a maple, a old apple tree, now a peach tree is dying.

she was sleeping in her bed when the strong storm hit last night again .That is why I planted no trees close to my house .Another strong storm headed my way again soon .They just put the warning up .We had a bad 1 last night also

Yesterday I went to put my boot on to go trim the Climbing Hydrangea. I started to stick my foot in there and felt something touch my foot. Took it right off and looked and it was a huge frog as big as my fist! Lucky for him I didn't push the boot all the way on! He was fine and I let him hop into my pond from the boot and he swam away. I keep my boots outside by the front door and I will be looking in there from now on before I put them on!

you mean lucky you jw ,yuck frog guts on your feet .Well had to stop again it is raining

We finished the walls of our coop with washable panels, and put linoleum flooring to keep the wood from absorbing odors

Today I reduced my pond population by 1/3 ish. 1 big adult, lot of babies, very pretty babies, gone to a guy setting up his new pond in Kansas. I got $37! And I was willing to part with most of them for free, but he got a good deal. Apparently pretty fish like that go for 5-6$ each up there.

Inside. Under flash flood warning today. Was hoping to building a small deck, but I guess laundry it is.

Gonna clean the filter AGAIN! Making sure I check boots for frogs! Pick up clippings from prunings and fill the Hummingbird feeder. Already did my ride and hit the garage sales. Got a small fan for a buck!

Spent the morning selling honey at a farmers market. THE SUN IS OUT! Saying we have 3 days before rain hits again. Heading to the beach!
