UH, happy Mother's Day to all Fish Parents. Found out today that I (we) have goldfish babies! Was it because I joined this forum 2 weeks ago ?!? I'll get pictures and post "soon" .

From the top left that's Bindiya with the red dot, then Dim ( Sum on the bottom), Annie, Haku, Rishi, Po, Shway-shway, cerby, Sona, Sum. They're all so adorable!

I think you mean the big white one. That's Haku. Didn't leave them alone though. My wife was home (cause of our aging husky, Diesel) and took care of them. She talks to them too :D
We had a blast in Grand Rapids at the bonsai show though. Our tree (cork bark elm) won third place in the All-State!

okay, you can keep your Mi subchapter of GPF card--glad you didn't neglect your babies! Talks to them, huh? May I ask what she says to them? Is she a koi whisperer? Or is she getting the local weathercast? Gotta admit, that could come in handy...especially here in Michigan, ya know?

Cool and congrats on your achievement! I've dabbled in bonsai too, but not as seriously as you, I'm sure. I have a approximately 40 year old grapefruit tree that is about 18" high, another I started too late to really make it a bonsai--another grapefruit tree that is about 4' high and almost 50 years old. I also have two honey locust in my garden that are about 2-3' tall and maybe 20 years old or so. And I started a Chinese elm about 5 years ago that I'm growing over a rock; it's about 12" tall.

Thanks for the update!!!

I'm the koi whisperer :shame: They were scared of her (they can tell just from footsteps who it is) initially but now they are pretty chill with her too.
Post some pics of your elm. Assuming the grapefruit comes in over winter?
