O.k. whilel I was waddling in my pond this afternoon I thought how your pond is shallow and may just be the new buffet in town for the birds..... SSooooo I thought that maybeeee you could keep that pond as a water garden and then put in a new pond that is deeper for the fish?????? I'd love to talk you into that....how about it? You could do it on the cheap with all the DIY posted here. I found 2 perfectly good large liners on craigslist dirt cheap with skimmer and falls boxes, tubing, lights, transformers, all that stuff.
