Absolutely gorgeous plants and flowers and so many different kinds! What a wonderful way to wake up and look out your high up windows down to that lovely view each day! It's like a park there w/ trails all through it  :blueflower:

I would like an Obedience plant and a Forget me not plant please :)

AN or multiple? lol An forgetmenot is tiny if you go by roots on a shoot. An obedience plant is one stem. They spread, it will take a little for them to settle back down.

The cool spring made them grow very very well. I need to get rid of some to find my path, it has disappeared.

My obedient plant is out of control in the bog, it is 3 feet tall without the flower stalks. My whitestar grass didn't make it through the winter.

I left the white star in a pot on the deck, no care, froze solid (we did hit 10). I was ready to yank the dead grass out of the pot and put in something else when I saw green shoots coming up. It is now growing great. Not supposed to live in this zone, outside over winter.

My obedient plant is very tall too, something has been sleeping on some of it in the bog at night, all smashed down. But my pond water is in great shape, so all those plants are doing their job. To some my bog is an out of control jungle........................ one mass of green vegetation and different flowers. Right now the yellow iris, monkeywort, 4getmenot are blooming like crazy. Next the day lilies open.

The frogs love it! a good hiding jungle. The hawk sits on the camera at the edge of the bog, watching for frogs to appear. The frogs usually win.

Ha ha Obedient plant is not so obedient it seems! Not sure if my star grass will come back or not. Have not seen any shoots coming. Might not get enough sun here to keep it alive. We did not get that cold so that can't be why.

Wonder what is sleeping by your pond at night addy?

Addy. It is so cool knowing you. People are always wondering who my friend is in MD that sends me things. I would love to get anything but the mint because I put some of that in already this year. Especially I would like the creeping primrose and penny wort because they did great before and din't come back. I think the creeping primrose didn't because I had it in the rocks and it must have got damaged when I put in my pump and filter this year. The pennywort wasn't secure enough in my tray and I know what to do now to protect it. A few things did come back but not that much. Also I want to drastically decrease the amount of floaters this year in my pond and stay with other plants instead. Thanks!! CK
