The yard is about a week away from being totally in flower.

What is neat is I am finding a lot of volunteer flowers, some wildflowers some planted that have sent their seed elsewhere. All bee friendly.

Love the double butterfly pics. That's amazing. Not sure which type it is, but it's pretty. And your red flowers are bee balm, right? Mine has been in the bed for 5 years, brought it with me from previous house, and it's not even blooming yet. :( Your flowers are gorgeous!!!!

Yes bee balm and they are spreading like crazy. I let them since so many critters snack on them. The little white flowers is some sort of weed, but all sorts of bees (not the honey ones) eat off them so they get to stay. I do pull a few since there are sooooooooooooo many growing.

The cone flowers spread all over too. Same with the milk weed finding volunteers growing here and there.

I wish more of my trapdoor snails would have lived. I saw one the other day, but put about 50 in each pond, never see any in the koi pond anymore. I have shubie babies, too!!! I spotted two this afternoon. EXCITED!!!
