Water Hyacinth finally one that bloomed.

I was in the pond this week end cleaning and fertilizing the water lillies. The lilies you sent me are doing great . The pads are huge. There are two buds about 2/3 of the way to the waters surface. Hoping to get blossoms other than the white and yellow I have. I will post a pic when they surface.

Well at least I got my grocery shopping and mowed the front yard yesterday before the rain came last night .Knee hurt like heck but it must be done .Just windy and chilly this morning feels colder than 61 degrees.But rain was welcome ,we need it .

Glad to hear! I have no clue what color you got, but think, georgia peach, perries sunset. both beautiful lilies.

Found a Monarch caterpillar yesterday.

Great Blue Lobelia did great in the bog this year. I moved it here in Spring from the native garden. Wasn't sure how it'd do but as you can see it was just fine. The pollinators really like it.

I'd be standing there on the edge of that pond w/my arms crossed w/a shovel by my side and a stern look on my face @Troutredds :shifty:
