What is the best solution for algae?

My water is clear, but the rocks are starting to become covered in algae, I have 7 lillies and 1 lotus and about 25 koi. Any suggestions?

It's seems to be, when I net some of it out, it seems very stringy. I'm so new to this I'm not really sure. I suppose I should mention it holds about 6500 gallons of water and deepest spot is 3 feet.
