We're still in good shape. Eating dinner and watching college football.
My South Carolina Gamecocks are actually winning.
I feel like a death row inmate eating his last steak.

I've been inspecting my property and the pond in between bands of heavy wind and rain and noticed that the pond does not overflow in a way that would let the koi escape.
The rock ledge/wall is about 6" higher than the maximum water line. That is, the pond water overflows in between the rocks and cement work. Never getting near the actual top.
So unless the yard becomes a lake, they'll be fine. And this area is very unlikely to flood.

It's already bucking.
It's morning time.
The storm is not far away now and it already looks like a battle zone outside.

It's interesting here! I can't remember if I posted this here already or not -- but in the northern half of GA we have tons of evacuees. Now we are under a tropical storm warning. Widespread damage and power outages expected. There is no ocean to contend with, but I'm guessing some of the evacuees are wishing they'd picked a different place to go. Seems now that the center will turn into Alabama -- I don't know that that will mean here. There is an evacuee family renting a house in the neighborhood. The mom is pregnant and overdue! She is near the hospital, but the 'hood has many many giant old oaks. I told the friend who lives next to the house with the family -- google how to deliver a baby! They might not be able to go anywhere! Hang in there, ZERO! Hoping the worst of it misses you!

Watching it on different live video feeds. Looks like a lot of wind and water but not as bad as I thought it would look so far anyways. But then I have only seen certain areas. I don't see @ZEROPILOT posting anymore. I suppose he has lost internet.
Hoping he is ok.

@bagsmom hope all goes well up there for you and the people who went for safety there. Keep us posted.
