Still here. Fortunate to not be dealing with the worst of the storm.
60 mph max in my county.
Part of my fence and some patio roofing have flung off.
But this damage is super easy to repair.
By this evening the band's of weather should begin to dissipate.
We're officially going to be ok more or less.
Not the case for anyone on the other coast

Lost the fence and my tree.

Glad we missed the storm!

So far one unit is fine, the guy just called, the one where they stayed had water weep in around the windows and patio door, so some paint and possible dry wall. They got a direct wind and rain hit.

We have not heard from the other two, both had left and can't get back yet.

Per the association emails the other place loss some trees, gutters, one unit lost a window, not us. Until she returns we won't know if water got in.

Peter. Sorry for my tone, but It's not really funny and doesn't belong on GPF. Unfortunately these type of stereotypes are what some people believe how all minorities act and can be quite hurtful.
Thank god the damage from the storm wasn't worse than what it was. It seems that the newer buildings really held up to the wind well. I guess next time I hear an ad about hurricane proof windows I'll believe them!.....but poor Key West and other Keys. It sounds really bad there.

We heard from the guy tenant, all is fine. He has some dementia so we hope what he is saying is accurate.
We also heard from the younger gal, she has a cracked window. We still need to have the older gal go back to his parents house. Then we will have a total list. That house is probably fine, brand new hurricane windows, solid concrete, has survived every hurricane that has hit that area.

Our damage, besides additional assessments from the associations to fix damage, is some drywall (which may dry), paint and one cracked window. We skirted total disaster.
