I looked out the window this morning, and saw all my fish active looking for food...they looked hungry so I fed them a little wheat germ, I don't think they have enough algae and I don't see the harm in feeding them a bit
It's nice to see the baby Kin Kikokuryu out with the rest of the fish :)

I had to add water to my deck ponds, the warm days, cold nights are sucking the water out of the ponds.

Believe me @sissy if I could give it up to ya I would! Pouring now on my pond but for some strange reason the fish never complain about it :sneaky:

Took out my small pump for the winter. The big pump is still running for now, but weather is supposed to change by next week so I may be replacing it with the breather.

What do you guys do with hoses over winter? Take them out and store them? Will they crack if you leave them in the pond?

We had a earthquake! I could see the pond water ripple at 4:47pm last night, on the cameras. It originated in Delaware.

My gosh, @BobDE ...the devastation you experienced!

I didn't feel anything here in Northeast PA.

I remember reading once that throughout history, the east coast has been more earthquake prone than the west coast. We tend to think of earthquakes here in the US as happening out in California.

The earthquake was devastating here in Delaware. But we will rebuild!

I think it was worse than you know; I'm more worried about you losing all your libations that must have been on the table. The quake must have sucked them all down, including the glasses/bottles/cans! That's gotta hurt!
