I was doing some work around the pond today. Nothing visible in the pics, but over the past few weeks, I've removed more non-native plants including the daylilies I had along the pond. Today, I planted about 20 Blue-eyed Grasses around the edge of the pond, plus the 10-15 I added a few weeks ago. I'm hoping they fill in nicely next year.

Meanwhile, the waterlilies are dying off quickly. This photo might not show that, but it's really thinning out.

It is still really windy here .They sometimes gust now to 55and 60 mph as per the Axton weather tower at the post office about 3 miles from my house and it got really chilly out and wind makes it feel colder .Thank you troutredds ,I can't complain as I am doing a lot better then some of the states .My poor brother in Norfolk has no clue what to do with the fish that got washed into his swimming pool.Fish dinner maybe every night .

Thanks Sissy, it is coming along nicely. Well, I am at least beyond the "what the hell was I thinking" stage and have moved into the "man I wished it was a bit bigger" stage. :LOL
Wonderful to see the new waterfall, T! You can always increase the flow rate in the future if desired. (y)

Red, I have a second pump just waiting for funds to purchase a second filter. The flow rate is much better with 2 pumps going to it. Although sadly not quite a full stream of water going over the front rock, but a lovely sound and the top fall flows nicely.. When I get it plugged in next time I'll take a picture.

I bought rolls of window screening at habitat for humanity for 2 dollars a roll and cost 9 dollars at lowes .The leaf has been curing in the basement for over 2 months .If you are using them for rocks I would double or triple the window screening
