We tried to get our tenants to leave, both old, but neither will. Both in the Delray area, the other younger tenant is in Boynton.

It is a shame when they don't leave because it can be hard on people ,stress and fear can be the worst on a body and mind

People are evacuating to North Georgia. The Atlanta Motor Speedway has announced it is open to campers. I think quite a few Wal Mart parking lots are starting to have tenants.

Our area is not in the evacuation area, yet, but if this storm hits full on they will be lacking water electricity for xx time. Florida is set up for good drainage, most of the time.

The last hurricane we had was only a cat 1.
But we had no power for eleven days.
I have a generator and wood to make repairs as needed. Lots of gas.
I just want this to be over.

Leaving now would be nearly impossible.
Go where?
You'll be stuck, idling in traffic on the highway running out of fuel that no one has for sale.
I've made our back, South facing bedroom into a fortress.
That will be the command center. If it breaches, the hallway then.

I'm yanking out the pump filter and waterfall as late as I can.
Everything else I'll have fortified by Friday morning.
I've double protected our North facing windows.
I've parked our three vehicles right up against the house.
I hope the house remains intact. Even though I know that's just not likely.
