I have two small shallow fishless ponds that freeze pretty deep, in working on the ponds to get things running I am seeing small frogs popping below water everytime I get near. They are gone before I can get a good look. All i can think is they are baby green frogs. They survived the ponds freezing up, no water flow, no air flow, rotting plants. Yours most likely will be fine.I hope the frogs didn’t die.
