They started out with 2 tanks 1/2 full (two engines) (assuming the gauges are correct) heading into strong winds, running against a lower than normal strong tide, not even 1/4 way to Annapolis ran out of gas. Had to be towed in. At that marina, the owner opened his fuel dock to fill the boat up, took 1220 dollars of gas. But he did not have enough gas to totally fill it. Still 3/4 of the way to go,
drained the tanks way down, not empty. Tanks hold 330 gallons each (660 total gallons). Blue is where we started, puppy head is where they ran out of gas, red in the home port.

we'll be nice to ya, big Guy; I can see that the Castle taxation officer gets slipped some jars of honey and your bill will come in under $3K, capiche? Just tap the side of your nose as the high sign and I'll get on it..! :D  <<wearing my wiseguy disguise jus' fer you!

oh yeah, AMTI; those diagrams you found for pond edge designs are a lifesaver to anyone wanting to keep their liner both covered from the sun and visually when sitting and lounging by the fish! Wish I'd have discovered them on my first dig...sigh. Took 8 years to undo that mistake!

Can this Creeping Charlie plant replace grass for a lawn that gets too little sun?

We used to have a pristine front lawn until all the trees got so big no grass will survive due to the full shade.

We tried many full shade grass seeds, but nothing survives. We even tried different types of clover.

I have a soil tester and it always seems within the proper parameters.

We added top soil, mulch, tilled it, etc.
The grass grows to a point, then as the trees fill with leaves, it all dies.

Will Creeping Charlie survive our northeastern Pennsylvania Winters in zone 6b?

it will but in full sun it's thick where i run it over with the mower not so much but with it and other weeds its green. ONE PLANT THAT WILL GROWN LEAVE IT BE BUT IS ABOUT A FOOT TALL IS DWARF BAMBOO VERY INVASIVE i'm sur e youve seen green fields in the woods

this is a mix of stuff in with it but it will give you the idwea.

what about moss get some compost rotting leaves and twigs . there are companies that sell it by the square foot. you will probably need to water it like you would a lawn but a heck of a lot less

Oh and you'll have to stay off of it . you could do pakasandra , hostas, stone crop sedums

It will grow in the sun/shade/grass/plants/hills I have pulled out wheelbarrels of the stuff trying to save some plants it has overgrown.

It does have some nice small lilac/purple flowers.
